HEART "IN" SEOUL
Our "Heart and Seoul" takes on a new twist this past week. This week of May 21-28 is OUR HEART "IN" SEOUL.
Our "hearts" have run the gammot...from pure joy to concerning sorrow. First came the joy of Debbie giving Ed a dinner for family celebrating his "biggie". We can't believe we now have three sons fifty and over but as we keep telling all of you, "The Best Is Yet To Come".
We are excited for Dan and Ann and their new "outdoor living" makeover and especially are we excited for their becoming new grandparents within the next couple of weeks. What a thrill that is for Russ and Tommi.
We received some darling pictures of Christine in her choir outfit and Ben in his costume as Petchurrio. Between the pictures we receive of our great-grandchildren and other pictures of the events in your life, our "heart" in Seoul is full of gratitude for such a "great" family.
Vacationing in California are the Madsens...the whole family except for Jake who is loving his mission as are Curtis and Trent. We are proud of those grandsons who are serving so diligently and the by-product is the strengthening of their own testimonies.
Jeff, Tyler, Whitney & Dallin are returning Thursday night from a week stay with Jeff's parents in the Phillipines. Just received an email from Carol and they have had a marvleous experience. As Carol said, the only downer is that it was hard to let them go...one does get lonesome for their family when so far away.
Looking for new homes are: Spencer & Emily, Andrew & Mary Jane, Dan & Jenn. How exciting for them to find "just the one".
Blessings are ever abundant even when trials hit. Russ has had some eye problems and is getting accustomed to two pair of contacts at once. Clayton almost cut his index finger off and the recovery will be a couple of months but the Dr. is optomistic he will get full use back.
Our "HEARTS are ever with our FAMILY no matter where we are. Here in Seoul, we rejoice daily of the love we feel from our family, the goodness of their lives and the joy it is for us to serve here in the Lords House when we feel that love from family.
