HEART AND SEOUL Dec.25,2005 - Jan. 1,2006
HEART
Dear Family,
Our hearts have been touched during this holiday season by the love, service and thoughtful acts of kindness we have been both recipients of and have witnessed among others. This then is perhaps one of the most Christ-like Christmas's we have experienced and been humbled by. The generosity of time and means of our family not only to us, but to one another, has touched our hearts with love and joy and filled our "bank of treasured memories" as we spent our Christmas in Korea.

On the Monday after Christmas we once again enjoyed the annual holiday celebration with the Evergreen Society. We were ask once again to sing as temple missionaries and were as before, the un professionals. On the program there was also a clairnet player, fan dancer, duet of voice and full professional choir. Prior to this program was their guest speaker and then following was a delicious dinner. They then had Kerioki singers and a dance band for those who wanted to dance. A great tradition to have been a part of and will also go in our "bank of memories".
New Years Eve found we fellow temple missionaries in the complex, enjoy a movie marathon at the Hess's and a delicious taco dinner. We haven't had those since being at home. Only the Hess's who have access to American food on the military base could have made this possible for us. Your mother was saddened that most of these "elderly" would not stay to see the New Year so she saw it in on her own (dad needs his rest still). We did have a fun evening and your dad and I closed the year by reading the last chapter of Moroni out loud to one another. As you have done, we too had completed the Book of Mormon as the prophet had ask and received the benefits he had said we would. A wonderful way to complete 2005, our year given to the children of God here in Korea.
Watch out 2006, we are meeting this new year with great expectations and the determination to conquor and achieve all the desires of our heart.
